Back by popular demand, a review of the stuff I’ve been reading in 2016. I’m aware that last year, some were discouraged by how many books I’ve got on this list, but it’s worth saying that I enjoy reading. I like to do it in my spare time – and as someone who doesn’t have any dependents, it’s easier for me to read than for a lot of people.
But because some of the books I’ve read have been excellent, and others aren’t worth the effort, I’ve put this list together to share my thoughts for the benefit of anyone who’s interested. As in previous years, I’ve tried to group together the books I’ve read into categories – not because I’ve deliberately sought to read something from each category, but because it makes it slightly easier if they’re split up.
So, here goes! Click on the links below.
I’ve been reading…
- Popular fiction
- Literary fiction
- C. S. Lewis
- Pocket-sized Christian books
- Books on Christian living and ministry
- Christian ‘classics’
- Books on various theological topics
Each category has a favourite – and of course, there’s my favourite overall…
